Giving Rewards to children for their effort and hard work is extremely crucial to encourage them to give their best. A well designed Rewards Program can help improve their performance studies or any other field. Children need motivation and encouragement and rewards create a feeling of pride and achievement. A Rewards Program, which motivates and praises children for every little effort and achievement, is key to keep them engaged in studies.
At Push Teacher we have designed a Rewards Program which encourages children for every little effort using reward points, encouraging messages at every stage, badges, and ranks. In this blog we explain all the features of Push Teacher rewards program. All children can see their rewards by going to My Rewards.
Children collect Stars for every Lesson they complete, Quiz they attempt and Assignment they complete. The number of Stars they collect is based on their performance. E.g. If a child scores less than 80% of the score the children earn 10 stars, for scores more than 80% they earn 20 stars and for passing the quiz they get 40 stars. That ensures that they earn stars for every attempt, even when they are attempting the same quiz multiple times.
Children can access their reward points by going to My Rewards where they can see their point balance. In addition, they can access all award transactions in My Earnings tab where they can see all the transactions for awards by date.
Children love badges! It gives them a sense of Achievement and Pride. Children collect badges when they have mastered a Topic. E.g. when they pass the quiz for Number Bonds – 10 they get a badge for Number Bonds – 10. They are notified immediately after they pass the required quiz. Children can also view the badges by going to My Rewards and then click on Tab My Achievements.
Children love games, and in any game as they move up the levels, it creates a sense of Achievement and Pride in children. Same is the concept of Levels at Push Teacher. Everybody starts with Level Newbees and Children earn Stars by completing Lessons, Quizzes and Assignments. As they collect stars, they move up their Level. E.g. when they reach 1000 stars, they move up to Silver Level. Below are the all the levels hierarchy and points required to achieve the level.
Children can access their current level by going to My Rewards under Current Level. In the tab My Ranks they can see their current level and next level.
